Greenomy and Deloitte make an Alliance to distribute EU Taxonomy reporting solutions across Europe

In an effort to help organisations rapidly build capabilities to address the complex challenges of the new EU Sustainable Finance legislation (EU Taxonomy, CSRD, SFDR), Deloitte Digital Risk Solutions and Greenomy have signed a distribution agreement. Through this Alliance, Deloitte will integrate Greenomy’s sustainability reporting platform in their offering to all customers across Europe.

The EU Taxonomy remains a very complex instrument and with the Greenomy solution, customers will be able to easily and cost-effectively screen, check and report their eligibility and alignment regarding the EU Taxonomy, in time for the first reports due in January 2022 and January 2023 respectively.

This Alliance will combine Greenomy’s cutting-edge SaaS sustainability reporting technology with Deloitte’s ESG consulting expertise in a joint value proposition, creating unique benefits and support for joint clients in this new challenging area. Deloitte and Greenomy will guide organisations together along the path of the transition in line with the EU Taxonomy.

Overall, the Alliance between Deloitte and Greenomy will assist clients to purchase, implement, and operate the advanced software tools and capabilities needed to deliver compliant sustainability reporting. Greenomy’s solutions will also empower clients to prepare and plan ahead for the upcoming transformations in the next 30 years in line with the objectives of the EU Green Deal.

“Our collaboration with Deloitte will help customers answer their most pressing needs in terms of sustainability reporting. Through our synergies we will deliver tangible impact on our clients’ sustainability strategies” said Alexander Stevens, CEO of Greenomy.

“Our mission as Deloitte is to help organisations do responsible business resulting in a positive impact on society. The EU Green Deal, including the mandatory EU Taxonomy and sustainability reporting directive is a true accelerator towards a more sustainable future. At the same time it is challenging for businesses to implement; it takes the right expertise and smart digital innovations. In Greenomy we found an excellent partner to jointly distribute a platform that helps businesses to manage their sustainability reporting.  Beyond compliance, this will enable us to better guide organisations along the EU Taxonomy transition path to carbon neutrality and full sustainability” said Marc Verdonk, Partner at Deloitte.
